King of the Road

Well I think it's a King of the Road Lucas Carbide Lamp - what I do know is that I couldn't resist it today. I knew that if I came home without it I'd only go back to the shop next weekend and buy it.

Quite what I can put it with to make a decent still life I don't know but I do know that I rather like it and that's good enough for me.

So much for getting lots of blitzing and tidying done today - the sun came out so I went out - to Tewkesbury - for a few pleasant hours.
