Wild

The wild flowers on the Cooriedog walk are looking good and I remarked as much to an estate worker.  He agreed.  But then made an exception for the willow herb.  Apparently it harbours a virus which transfer to conifers which then lose their needles and their marketability.  They were to be scythed down and someone was up there today doing exactly that.  On his own.  Given the size of the plantation, it is not a job I would fancy.  But better than any chemical solution.
