Cool start

It was a cool start to the day with mist lingering on until nearly 10.30am.  I went out plein air painting this morning and thoroughly enjoyed myself.  l cleverly found a spot in the shade of a large tree whereas these two fried once the sun appeared!  l don't mind being in some sunshine but hate the page being hit by the sun as it changes all the colours and l get blinded by the white on the page!!!
We christened our new barbecue tonight in readiness for a barbecue supper party on Monday.  Looking forward to it..
