Grumpy

Carlos is going through skin shedding. It sometimes takes awhile and he does turn into a right grumpy lizard when it happens. He is saving the small piece of rocket leaf on his chin for later, obviously.

We had good news yesterday as Corin got a phone call from his boss to say that he starts a big job on Monday....should take him through to Christmas at least, which after months and months of intermittent work is a blessed relief for him and for me.

We have also decided to renovate the summer house...remove the wood burner and chimney, replace the carpet and put a sofa bed and little radiator in there, so it becomes a little living room for quiet times or a guest room for if we ever have visitors. Can also be emergency sleeping location for when there are disturbances next door!

Slept till 2pm.

Done sod all...if it couldn't be done from the sofa, it wasn't getting done today. End of story.
