"Big Boy" Steam Locomotive 4004

Cheyenne, Wyoming is a center for the Union Pacific Railroad operations.
The Big Boy locomotive 4004, on static display in Cheyenne at Holliday Park, was given a thorough cleaning and new paint this year.
The Union Pacfic has undertaken the complete restoration to fully operational condition of Big Boy locomotive 4014.
Completion of that project is scheduled for sometime in 2019.
Truly these are amazing machines well worth the efforts to maintain their history into the present.
