Nature Day

Today we were visited by a Privet Hawk-Moth, apprently the largest moth in the UK, but as I’m in France, there may be bigger species. Note to self, check facts before blipping in future.
The additional pics are of the Venus Fly Trap flower that I blipped a few days ago. The answer to my pondering, is that the flowers appear to open in sequence, but not, so far, to the detriment of the first flower. They all share the same stem, so may produce an interesting multiple head. I will keep you posted.
