A sewing day!

Makes a change from painting!!

U3A sewing day, 6 hrs of getting on with things and preparing for another sewing day on Saturday. Followed by a Quilting Group meeting in the evening.

The speaker was a gent who is an ‘Urban Sketcher’ who in collaboration with his wife who is a quilter / teacher, have translated some of his pictures into quilts. These are wall hanging quilts, not the bedding type. The exhibit at big quilt shows.
