Stokes Bay

After breakfast in the hotel I went for a wander down the road to Stokes Bay; a nice promenade area with lots of activity in the water.
The ferry is the Isle of Wight ferry.

After fresh air and meeting up with a friend in the hotel, where we had several cups of tea, we drove over to see the married couple. More tea and bacon sandwiches, and general lounging for the afternoon. Lovely.

A hairy and delayed flight back which involved the captain telling us they were going to do some standard engine checks while we were on the runway. The noise was unbelievable, not helped by it being a propeller plane and very small. It was a bumpy flight home but was glad I had a book to get stuck into. Thanks Stacey!
