all hallows' eve

...too much cheap candy was consumed...I refused to buy any because I knew I would eat it all myself (we don't get any trick-or-treaters in the apartment building) so that meant I had to scrounge for the free stuff given out in the lobby...seems I can't just not eat any. Lesson learned. Next year I'll buy a nice candy bar in honor of the holiday and savor it.
