Winding down onto Chora Sfakia

A day of touring round from North Crete on to South Crete via Sfakia and Frangokastello to Plakias and back to Chania via Rethimnon. Lovely sceneries enjoyed and the strong winds over Crete's South border. Taking this picture with the car parked where the road is a little wider I was almost blown away and that's repeated at every other spot along the South coast where we stopped for a photo view.... 
In the distance on the horizon is faintly visible the island Gavdos, some 50 kms out of Crete's South coastline and it's Europe's most Southern point of land.

It's noticeble that the sun tans much faster here in the South of the island than in the North... I should spent a few days here and get back deeply tanned
