Nice work boys

This morning it was the digging in of the new gas pipe. Much mess and the only good thing is that the bit of rain has dampened the dust somewhat.
Rob and I escaped to buy some new young hens! We came home with two marrans and two TuftyBEL!! These are a new breed created by the breeder at Poultry Matters.
They are so cute looking I couldn't resist, though Rob probably thought we should get something sensible. The marrans are his!
They have been shut in the hen house today as they have never been outside before, they will find our orchard a bit of a shock!
I will let them out in an enclosed area tomorrow and try to photograph.
