Fresh Water!

Drink it, splash it over your head, wash your feet....but don’t waste it!

There are a few of the old fresh water taps still on the beach....dating from the time....that I can remember....
when we went to the street fountains to collect drinking water for our homes.

Today, our domestic water supply ....is a good quality ....and ...reliable! ...even in the heat of summer!

On the beach, we have modern foot showers.....to meet the EU beach regulations.........but that water is ‘non potable’

My Blip shows one of the old fountains.....producing pure, free, drinking water!......a real luxury for many!
