The Quays
A day of hunting down bargains in charity and vintage shops with Dorien today. Very satisfying. My particular favourite (no doubt to be blipped shortly) is a French children's rain mac with a jungle animals. I plan on cutting it up to make some art - how highbrow am I? Then hopped on a tram to the Lowry, which is a most ugly building. Luckily the art inside was fab. An exhibition by Peter Blake, was especially magic. Elvis, whom I love a ridiculous amount featured heavily and that is never a bad thing in my opinion.
When I came out the light was fab and all the shiny surfaces of the revamped Salford quays were glinting, reflections aplenty.
