Today is the annual Bourne Free today in Bournemouth. Parade went by on the cliff top earlier. all good fun and bright colours.

Guy on double decker making SILLY jokes. ‘That lady on the bench looks like the Queen Mother ....she can be my Queen today’, ‘Your father looks nice .... I’ll have him’. Now by the pier sitting at Neo. Their sun terrace packed with customers sporting bright flower garlands and dressed fancifully too. So my blip today celebrates Bourne Free Day.

Update p.m. The Lower Gardens were one big party when we passed through. Had no idea of the impact Bourne Free has. Great vibes. A band playing, families and youngsters relishing the fun, some outrageous outfits, stands promoting various causes. The colours and good humour were so infectious.

Now flicking between the tennis and the footie. So far the tennis holds more allure.
