Sun Patch

Early morning...usually a busy time on the birdfeeders.
Had opened the window to top them up and waited to see if they'd come and feed with me there.
At least six Bluetits and Coaltits were going berserk in the (now leafless) tree
nearby.

They swooped and darted about but wouldn't land while I was there.
Great morning entertainment.

It was lovely to see patchwork patterns made by the morning sun...and the Magpie came just as I took the shot.

Passed up on dinner invite tonight- just couldn't face another journey after a good day in Glasgow.
Instead, opted for Saturday night in with Someone's scrumptious Home Made Meringues !!! ... and Montalbano.
Heaven!
