Church Charm

Mom & I went out early this morning to a few Christmas bazaars. This is our favorite, so it was our first stop. The church is so pretty with the stonework, stained glass windows, and vibrant red doors--all with so much charm & character. The details are stunning, not to be replicated by modern standards of design. There is an arched side door in the same meticulously kept red paint with a wrought iron knocker. I call them troll doors, as I can imagine a wee lad in a cloak, holding a lantern, stepping up the cobblestone walkway for a visit.
