Dog-Sitting

Quite a nothingy day, hence the rather boring picture! Nice lie in this morning, then breakfast at mum and dad's, followed by the usual couple of hours of sitting around interneting! Forced myself to do my sainsbury's shop, then back to m and d's to hang out. Talked with my sister who was visiting. Other sister "took" my dad to the Mini garage as hers is on the out. 3 hours later they returned having ordered her a brand new cream Mini One!!! Jealous much? Then went to dance practice for 2 hours. We have the national team finals in 3 weeks, so there are a lot of weekend practice sessions to build our team spirit. It's adults and children, which made for a very noisy session! As a teacher of small children its hard to switch off and very tempting to try and put a stop to chaos! Managed to refrain from that, although I did want to put my hands over my ears! We practiced our march on- nit even sure if I will be there for the real thing- but fun nonetheless. We are making the English flag by wearing white and red caps with our school logo on it. Not much of a hat person but I wore my white cap with pride! Mum and Dad are out tonight, so I've spent the evening dog-sitting Little B who cannot bear to be left alone, plus he is petrified of fireworks. He was an angel all evening, and even fell asleep on the sofa with his paws and head nuzzled into my shoulder! I'm sure this is real love! Unfortunately when I let him out to tiddle at midnight, something in the grass caught his interest. The result- 15 minutes of racing around the garden through all the bushes barking. By the time I managed to lure him in with a bone biccie, all four paws were caked with mum:-(. The downside to puppy care....,
