ephemeral beauty

It was hot today, and more humid which made it seem worse.
Did a slow parkrun with legs still sluggish from last week but at least I got round.
Home for a shower and then off with our guest to St Andrews where there was a lovely breeze in many places. Visited the 2 penguins there, had fish and chips for lunch and then went to the Botanic Gardens where they also have a butterfly house. The temperature inside was mid-30's and very humid (and even daniel sadi it was hot) but we stayed as long as we could and got quite a lot of pics of the very active butterflies.
Then out into the relative cool and a wander round the gardens, a soft drink and home.
