Inlaid Wax Well

This is a woodworking project I'm doing through The Hand Tool School. It's cherry and the inlaid diamond is purple heart. It bolts on under my workbench and holds a piece of paraffin wax and an oily rag for keeping iron blades in good condition. It's taking a long time to chop out the well!
