DD dancing in the foreground of our neighbour's, Merce, 50th birthday party! A memorable night!

Merce's birthday dinner was in Enrique's near our local market...we were treated to the full spread (mixing languages): jamon, pan con tomato, mussels, scallops, calamares a la romana, calamares in garlic, chocos (breaded cubes of succulent squidy things!), razor shell fish, berberechos (cockles), pulpo a la gallego, beer, young cloudy white wine from Galicia, three types of sponge cake including rum soaked and tarta de Santiago (almond), and coffees mixed with rum, whisky and Baileys. Then back to our neighbour's house on the upside from us for endless cava and dancing and perusing Merce's photo album for her 50th which even included a shot of my mother in 2001!
