Unexpected Silly Saturday!

Calls and messages, but my mobile had died - an answerphone message on the house phone alerted me to the fact that friends from Otley had landed at the local unexpectedly.  Dashed off down only to be greeted by an ambulance - allegedly someone had drunkenly driven to the pub and then fallen over.  Drama over (we thought) and a good meeting with friends, then another person fell over, unfortunately hitting his head. Ambulance recalled - apparently he was the husband of the first "patient" who by this time had disappeared off to another pub!  Ambulance eventually returned and he was blue lighted to hospital.  A sort of unexpectedly silly evening - got home, no blip so to round off Silly Saturday I blipped my sandal!!
A tad too much to drink perhaps?!
