Bushfire.

A fire in the hills,
Ravaging the countryside,
Clearing away bush.

When the early European settlers arrived in New Zealand much of the land was covered in heavy forest. As the trees were felled then fires were started so as to get the land suitable for sowing grass seed to be able to graze sheep and cattle. At times there were huge fires.
We are having a very wet day here so the only fire is the one in our fireplace. The image is double exposure of our fire and a painting of the hills.
