Rowena has that I am going to run after you catch you and pass you look in her eye, this is looking down the track toward the start of the Squire Cup Cross Country Race. The Squire Cup is the most prestigious race in the History of Run Timaru, this is a Handicapped race and extremely hard to win and a tough course, this is an uphill section 1.2km long of the 3km lap. The Women Ran 6km and the Men 9km. Today was the 82 Running of the Annual Event and never stopped during the War Years and is back where the race originally started. We are honoured to be hosted by direct descendants of the original Race, members of the Squire Family. Row took 1 minute of her time from last year. Row is one of the Ladies I have had direct input into coaching. In my Extras are the Winners of the Mens and Womens Race ( First Across the line) Andy who is a good friend of mine ran a fantastic race and will be a great boost to him, Andy's Partner died of Breast cancer 1 month ago and Glenda who I have been helping ran so strong there was only 3 seconds different between laps.
