Smoothie

We went to Cambridge this morning to collect an item, which was ordered on Wednesday. We do not often go in on a Saturday, as there are always so many people, this was especially true today as there was an event on, on Parker’s Piece.
 
There were so many people and a lot of tourists who were pushing others out of the way or standing in groups on the pavement, which meant that we had to walk in the road, so we decided to retreat to the library for lunch. It was cool and quiet! Unfortunately the café in the Library is closing at the end of August. Cutbacks it seems and they are being replaced with vending machines; not a good move.

Then, before coming home, we moved on to Livingstone’s café, attached to the Baptist Church where we met with some Mensa friends and where today’s picture of my pineapples and coconut smoothie was taken.
