Gateway

I like gates, they represent something ordered, mathematical, engineered, designed.

They often sit in the middle of nature, something free, natural, alive, random.

As I've got older I've realised that life is better when you enjoy both these things.

Through school I was pushed towards maths, sciences then engineering then IT. All ordered, all 1s and 0s in many ways. Creativity was at a premium.

Some of the best ideas are when you are being creative, not following the structures of logical thought, so we need both.

I now enjoy being creative more than the logical stuff, so blipping ticks my boxes.
