"Another place" ....... find the human being....
100 statues of Antony Gormley, on Crosby Beach (north of Liverpool).
In my humble opinion, one of these would have been sufficient. Some of these statues are further out and fully submerged at high tide. A danger to shipping in the River Mersey?????
A couple of years ago another Gormley statue - rust-coloured and somewhat larger than life - was sited on Kimmeridge Beach. A strong storm sufficed to rip it from its attachments and further attempts to install it proved futile. Fortunately so, as at a distance it easily could have been thought a holiday-maker in distress.
(Memories of King Canute, perhaps.....???)
Gormley is also the creator of the Angel of the North. Say no more.
