Woke Up This Morning

Woku up at 5 am. and after realising I would not sleep again, headed out for the usual walk of about 1 hour. Headed for the Kivenalanen lake or pond, where this morning found a whooper swan and five red-throated divers (only three in the extra). On the way back, saw a deer who stopped to watch me (another extra). When returning to the cottage, took a swim and then sat by the lakeside reading the morning paper (which I collected from them mailbox on the way back). Then saw a grass snake on the lawn (the main blip). A morning of wild animals then.
