.....the latest in a (very) occasional series (and needless to say it's NOT in alphabetical order!) tagged accidentalalphabet

Woke up ridiculously early this morning with a strange compulsion to make cheese scones, so I attempted to repress the urge by going out for an early walk.......there wasn't much happening at 8.15am, it was too late for dawn and too early for the dog-walkers........those scones might get baked yet.......

Favourite headline from this weekends 'News Guardian' (it lands on my doormat any time between Thursday and Sunday, they obviously can't get the staff these days.......and it's 99.26% free according to their banner title.....though I'm not sure I'd pay the 70p cover price as does the, rather surprising, remaining 0.74%......but I digress.......)
