to Fight Varroa

Varroa is a mite that is attacking British honey bees and is causing them all sorts of difficulties.

Varroa has not arrived in the Isle of Man and we are trying our hardest to increase local public awareness to avoid the chance of inadvertantly importing mainland bees. To do this our beekeepers Federation needs to raise some money to continue to fund our publicity campaign.

So here you see some stalwart beekeepers at Peel giving encouragement to everyone to come and visit our coffee morning!
