Day 196/18. It's not the picture that's impressive
Today, in another late afternoon walk around Marwell with the grandsons, I took my camera along as usual. These are Casque-Headed Lizards.
These are a classic example of a sit-and-wait predator, resting immobile for long periods of time and striking primarily at prey that venture within range.
That in itself is not impressive, what is impressive is that despite taking many pictures with my camera this, my chosen best image of today, was taken with my phone, and taken through glass. (A Samsung S8+)
