Another Water Lily Moment

So there I was, prostrate on the ground, arm outstretched, camera in hand, trying to get as close to the glowers as I could!  The things we do for a different perspective!  Another false colour IR image.  I'm learning to tweak the colour channels a bit more to get the golden yellow in the foliage, but still have to use hue/saturation to tidy up the colours, especially in the sky.  I've added the black and white conversion to extras.

We popped over to M-i-L's house this morning to check on things.  Unfortunately, she is still in hospital but latest reports suggest a great improvement and we don't think it will be long before she is back home.  

I opted to walk back through a local nature reserve called Rough Wood, before joining the canal for the last stretch back home.  I have lots of memories of walking through the wood more than 30 years ago with my then girlfriend; it has certainly changed and matured in the intervening years, with well defined paths through the impenetrable growth.
