View from our windows to the north

I've pottered at home today doing nothing much. We did watch the men's singles final at Wimbledon and were sad to see Anderson struggling to win any points in the first two sets.

This evening I noticed the brilliant low sunlight on the field to the north of our house. You can see the end of Rose Cottage in my picture. It's for sale and we hope that our new neighbours will be as lovely as the ones who are there now. So far, there are no offers.

Tomorrow I will snap back into activity because we have a family party (only a small one) here on Tuesday. It's amazing how little jobs that have been waiting for ages, are suddenly a priority when visitors are expected!!
