More fun in the sun

Took AR round to K’s this morning after breakfast but L&E were just leaving to go and see their other Granny, so she played on their scooter and in the paddling pool, munching on chocolate brioche and chatting quite happily. She was confused by K’s sons and kept saying ‘You’re not Toby’ to the other two that she doesn’t know as well. She also calls A ‘torch’ because he once found torches for them all to play with!
We did a bit of NYC planning-can’t believe it’s not long til our trip, then home to help Mt&H finish off the work on the garden. They’ve thinned out a tree and put pebbles alongside the paths. Looking good but on an absolutely blistering day it wasn’t the easiest work!
Off to Red Lion for a late lunch. Very tasty and nice time together-P didn’t come because he thought it was too hot for Diesel but was good to just relax. Left from there and drove home....made good time and listened to some good downloads
