From top right corner: cumin, coriander, turmeric, red pepper, garam masala, black mustard seeds.

Heat 1 T olive oil
pour in 1 t black mustard seeds
(be careful, they pop right out like popcorn
don't let them burn)
drop in t of cumin seeds
Add chopped onion, garlic, pepper (to taste,
I like it hot!)
Add some water if things begin to stick
Add 1 t+ a little turmeric and make sure it heats well
Then 2 t corriander
1 t red pepper (or half if you like it milder)
a little less than 1 t garam masala
and salt to taste (it's better salty!)

add chopped vegetables of any kind
and enough water
(or even better coconut milk) to soften.

Double spices for more....

Really there's no recipe for this...you just throw things in...it's more fun that way.
