Asked son S to give details of how the balloon pilots were able to take the  sharp group pics of passengers on their balloon flights (inset).

He responded with this pic.

The camera is suspended from the side of the balloon canopy, with a looping cord to enable cameras to be pulled towards the basket during launching and landing.

Cameras are set to "activity" mode. and are fired by remote control by pilot from within the basket.
