Where's the Green gone!

We spend most of the summer with green the predominant colour in daylight landscape images.

Well I have used Lightroom to process this image and have in the Develop Module the HSL (Hue, Saturation, Luminance) control. Well I pulled the green slider for each control to its full extent without having any appreciable impact on the image.

A Beautiful morning in the West Midlands. This is taken just west of Brocton Coppice. Won't be long before we get some wet and windy weather and the autumn colours will disappear but I'm struggling to remember a longer period where autumn colours have been so good.

I was considering a Remembrance Day themed shot this morning but how can you ignore the sheer spectacle of autumn on a clear blue sky day.
