The Dog and Doublet

I couldn't count the number of times I've been to this Midlands canalside pub, from school days onwards. Now it's become an annual tradition to visit and I'm pleased to say it's hardly changed at all in all those years, including the unique brand of service. There's a photo in the bar of the landlord holding a Dog and Doublet sign saying 'hot beer - lousy food - bad service'. All three were actually OK on this occasion.
