Nettle Guru!

In a previous job there was ample ground at the side of the office to practice your golf swing and chip balls back and forth during break times when the weather allowed.

On one lunch break we helped our colleague Burt look for his ball (again) whilst he thrashed away with his club in the deep stuff.

"I wouldn't obliterate them docken leaves if I were you Burt!" says auld Alan.

"Docken leaves, what are they?" asks Burt in his strong South African accent.

"They're nature's remedy against stings."

"And what would I want with them?" queries Burt as he eradicated what was left of them with his pitching wedge.

"Oh I just thought they might come in handy............. seeing as the back of your legs have been brushing against that that bunch of nettles for the last couple of minutes!"
