2000 HUH?

I find it hard to believe I/we have never travelled this route since 2000.
BUT
en route to one of my recent Solway sunset hunts I spotted a "strange erection" at Mealsgate & vowed to investigate.
It seems to be a Millennium marker I'd not seen before. 
This is the unpruned shot. The extra was taken after I removed a few twigs hanging over the "2000".
