Evening Scent

A quick trip to town first thing, 45 mins each way so not that quick!  Dropped in a bag of clothes to the charity shop, and found a lovely little navy top!  Brand new, Country Casuals, original label for £39.95 on it, selling for £6!  And it fitted me!  Definitely meant to be!  

Very hot in the afternoon so Ollie and I sat in the coolth of B's sitting room with her, keeping her company and watching the butterflies and birds in her garden.  She can come over a gently old lady, but get her onto politics, Trump or animal welfare and she's still as fiercely committed as ever!  Choice language too!  We always have a good laugh!

This is an emergency blip of the honeysuckle round the back door.  The scent is wonderful at the moment, not just in the evening, but all day long.  Along at the veg patch, where the hens are, there is a little hedge of wild white roses mingling with honeysuckle and the smell is really heady and amazing, it should be bottled!
