Country Park Health Hazards

Strathclyde Country Park loch is stagnant with no water draining over the outflow, the water smells

And that’s not all. An expanding duck population. Feeding the birds is mistakenly encouraged, the beach cafe sells bread for that purpose! The lochside paths surrounding grass and beach are thick with bird droppings. This is a serious health hazard. Surprised this is acceptable to environmental health department, particularly when much of the Park is a children’s playground.

Then there is the million pound gym which closed to paying members on 31st May and sits empty and unused when I passed today. This was built with public money, who is accountable for this wasted resource?
