Drought wheat

This crop looks ready to harvest which it is but the plants are dead - except for the occasional green ones.  The grain is small and shrivelling in the ears through lack of moisture.  But that's the way farming goes, the weather dictates most of what we do and when we do it and we have to live with the consequences.  Last year was very different to this year.
