The Last Elderflowers...

...were picked from our bush today. It was very warm out there in full sun under a clear blue sky, with the temperature touching 30°C.  This work was inspired by yesterday's production. I retreated to the kitchen to remove all the stalks, dead flowers etc and this pile of mostly flowers was the result.
That brown background is normally a lawn; this year it's doing the Mediterranean look.
Having got this far it seemed too hot to start boiling up water and such like so I popped them in a plastic bag and froze them.  When the weather is a little cooler we'll restart the elderflower cordial action.
