Allonby Green Washing

It has always been customary for the residents of Allonby to dry the washing on the green.
After all the lovely weather we have had, we had some rain last night; today it was nice again.
Been to Allonby Camera Group this afternoon, as I came out Scotland looked very clear, so I decided to go a few miles up the coast to Mawbray to get some pictures looking across the Solway Firth, but within a few minutes the clouds came in and I could feel the weather was going to break again so after taking a few shots looking out to sea (extra), I decided on this one looking back inland and the washing having a good blow, bet it got wet within a short time of the picture being taken.
