The tidal bathing pool.

A nice example of a thing mainly of the past - once popular and well used by many hardy souls. They’re not quite relegated to history yet though - boys were in one north of here today....in wet suits! I know of several in the East Neuk of Fife; their hay day was the 1940-60s. One actually has roots in the 16th century; it was developed into a formal bathing pool in the 1930s. They’re generally in poor repair nowadays in this area.
