Stretching for the Autumn sun...

Gorgeous pockets of crocuses at the Botanics today - though had to get pretty wet and muddy as I lay down to get this shot! It definitely feels like we are leaving autumn and entering winter - no real heat left in the sun and soft shards of ice on the pond even by mid-morning.
