Act of Remembrance

Both my children were somewhere in the orderly throngs surrounding the War Memorial in front of their school this morning, spending half an hour standing in the drizzle to show their respect in an act of remembrance this morning.

We'd had a particularly fraught attempt to get here this morning as dear daughter, who was supposed to be in full uniform for RAF Cadets, discovered that she'd left half her kit at the venue where she'd been doing some charity work after school the other day.
