Strawberry Thief!

I took the net off the strawberries for just a couple of minutes while I had a look to see if there were any more ready to pick, and straight away the blackbird was there!  I am sure it is the same one who befriended Bonny the bantam when she lived in the garden last winter.  It's never very far away and always on the look out for a treat.

It also seems to have a bit of Ollie's hair hanging from its mouth .  When I brush him I put the hair I get out into a box for the birds.  The sparrows love it and you see them with great beaks full, trying to squeeze into their nest boxes with it!
