A Toast...

...to absent friends.

Remembrance Day Parade at St Peter's Square in Manchester.

I watched this gentleman place three small wooden crosses in the ground.
He stood and saluted.
Then he pulled from his pocket a small hip flask and proceeded to pour a drop of its contents in front of each cross - then he took a sip himself.
