Slice of Nostalgia

In the old days the views from the terracing and stand at Easter Road Stadium were a magnificent distraction. To the South Arthur's Sea and Salisbury Crags and to the North the Firth of Forth and coast of Fife. Today the stands built on all four sides of the ground force the spectators to rely on the action on the pitch for entertainment. This has not been a satisfactory arrangement in recent seasons but times are changing and another victory today has kept Hibernian at the top of the Scottish Premier League - for a couple of hours at least. So the reduction of Arthur's Seat to a a mere glimpse at the corner of the stadium can be lived with.
